This is indeed a totally uninteresting event. Somebody grabbing a cab in the street of a big city is common to any urban environment. But something is twisted there. The light looks completely weird. More like a bad advertising shot. Of course, the yellow car and the green jacket immediately attract the eye. But why do we not believe it is a simple street photograph ? The shadows seem reversed. Or there might be two suns. Is it another planet ? Probably since the human presence is taking over nature. What happens here is another reflection phenomenon. The sun is in the back, but it reflects in a huge glass building in such a powerful way that the car and the person seem lighted from the front. Again, this is the New York of the glass architecture.
